Returns

At Weighing-Net, we place the utmost importance on the quality of our scales and subject them to rigorous quality checks to ensure they meet the highest standards. We are confident that our scales will meet your requirements. Returns are extremely rare with us, but if you are still considering a return, we are here to assist you with a smooth process. Read on to find out more about our returns policy and procedures.

Important note

Please never send items to us or the sender’s address without prior agreement, as such a delivery cannot be processed by our warehouse and will be returned to you.

We recommend that you keep the original packaging including polystyrene trays in order to be able to pack the goods safely for transport in the event of a return, repair or inspection. Alternatively, please carefully package the scales with your own protective materials to avoid damage during transport.

If a return shipment arrives damaged due to improper packaging, we will have to charge you for the costs of any repairs, repackaging and recalibration of the scale. To avoid such additional costs, we strongly recommend that you follow our packing instructions, which can be found on our website.

Business Customer

We only work with reputable shipping companies. Nevertheless, please do not accept any visibly damaged parcels, as this confirms to the shipping company that the delivery is free of damage.

Returns without reason are generally not possible for business customers. 

However, if there is something wrong with your delivery or if your device is delivered faulty, we will of course be happy to help you.

Private customers

At Weighing-Net,  we want to offer you a pleasant shopping experience from start to finish.. Should you as a private customer nevertheless wish to make use of your right of withdrawal, you can do so without reason within fourteen days of receipt of the goods, provided the goods are in new, unused condition. 

Do not accept visibly damaged parcels, as this confirms to the shipping company that the delivery is free of damage.

The returns process

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please first inform us of your decision in writing by email. 

Details for collection:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • Your address
  • The name of the item you wish to return
  • The serial number (S/N) of the item to be returned
  • Reason for return (optional)
  • Packaging size or note ‘original packaging’

Please never send your goods to us or the sender’s address yourself, as such a delivery cannot be accepted. We will organise the collection.

A member of our customer service team will then contact you as soon as possible with the collection information and shipping labels.

Packaging Instructions

Turn up the transport securing screws (if present) so that the head touches the upper frame and the nut sits on the lower frame

If you wish to make a return shipment, make sure that you turn up the transport securing screws (if present).

Pad the box sufficiently with filling material. Pack in such a way that the scale cannot move during transportation.

If you are sending a display, also pad it with polystyrene or several layers of bubble wrap.

If you make use of your right of withdrawal and initiate a return shipment, please observe the packaging instructions

 

Repayment

Refunds are usually made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. Please note that the following costs will not normally be refunded:

  • Shipping and pickup fees
  • Calibration certificates
  • Calibration
  • Some manufacturers charge a packaging and handling fee of 10% of the value of the goods.
  • Customised goods and goods that are inseparable from them

The refund will be released when the returned goods have reached the warehouse in new condition and have been processed there.
