How can I automatically export data to a CSV file (Excel spreadsheet)?

Does this export have to be activated manually, or can the program be configured to save an automatic export in a defined unit, e.g. every 24 hours?

In PC-XTREM it is not necessary to export to CSV manually. Each weighing operation that you can see in the browser is automatically added to a spreadsheet.

The name and location (URL) of this CSV document is user configurable under settings, Log file:

Firstly, click onto settings and then continue to Log File. Here you can see where the CSV-file is saved.

To register a weighing operation, the application can be configured in three different ways:

Manual registration by clicking the “+” button in the application window:

The plus-button will allow you to manually register different weighing-options.

Automatic registration every time a new weight is detected on the scale.

It is possible to add a new weight automatically.
The Auto Log and Force unload will allow the system to automatically register a new weight, as soon as it is detected on the scale.

Automatic recording in an adjustable time frequency independent of the weight on the scale (data logger mode):

Are there other possibilities to send the data to an external system for integration into a database?

With the developer information we provide below it is possible to program custom tools and applications for Xtrem scales. The link includes communication protocols of the scale and code libraries in C# as well as a code examples where the protocol is implemented. This information is free to use.
